Oh yes, it is official our country of 'Great Britain' is once again following in the footsteps of its' younger, yet larger Allie the USA, what ever happened to learning from the mistakes of others and only taking the positives, in order to become greater as (in this case) a country
Obviously these new results that have been published about obesity in Britain will not have come as a great shock to the majority, but the question is, will anything change now it is official?
I think the answer to this must lie within us as individuals, and we must lose the attitude that it will sort itself out or if it gets really bad then doctors will probably do something about it, and even more unlikely that the Government may take an interest in the health of its' employers. Instead a chef (who I have great admiration for) has taken it upon himself to be the spokesperson for us and our children and has made it easier for the Government. Of course I am talking about Jamie Oliver, who behind his celebrity is a man who has his own family to be responsible for, just like all of us.
I myself have had weight issues throughout my life, until recently when I have lost 6 stone in 5 months and have never felt better, and am pleased to say that I am now one of the 3/4 Britains who is not obese. I did this mainly by myself by using the 'Burn the Fat' program devised by Tom Venuto, which is designed to fit into your lifestyle and it really works and can be found at beautysolutionsreview.com.
We have to do this ourselves, besides with the money for pensions ever diminishing, some cynics might say that this problem, which will ultimately end in lower life expectancy, may be also solving one of the Government's major issues. |
